You’ll never guess who has the cheapest beer in the Major Leagues There’s no confusing the price difference between a happy hour beer in Lower Downtown and a frothy pour at Coors Field — or any big sports venue, for that matter. But Colorado Rockies fans lamenting the fact that the team has the worst odds (or the second worse or third worst, depending on who you ask) of winning their World Series, they can at least rejoice in a new survey claiming that Denver’s ballpark also serves the cheapest beer.DENVER, CO – APRIL 25: From left to right, service reps for a major entertainment business in Denver, Rachelle Alen, Trish Mortel and Meg Bailey enjoy each others company, soda and beers from the Rooftop at Coors Field before the Colorado Rockies played the San Diego Padres April 22, 2018. Protesters seek gun control after Nashville school shooting By KIMBERLEE KRUESI and TRAVIS LOLLER (Associated Press)NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Hundreds of people protested at the Tennessee Capitol on Thursday in favor of tighter gun controls, haranguing the Republican-led Legislature to take action following this week’s mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville in which three children and three adults were killed.Chants of “Save our children!” echoed noisily in the hallways between the state Senate and House chambers, with protesters setting up shop inside and outside the Capitol. Some silently filled the Senate chamber’s gallery, including children who held signs reading “I’m nine” — a reference to the age of the three kids who died in Monday’s attack at The Covenant School. Most protesters were removed from the gallery after some began yelling down at the lawmakers, “Children are dead!”The rally followed a Wednesday night candlelight vigil in Nashville where Republ...

He led Cornell to a 2-0-first-round upset of the DU Pioneers in the NCAA Regional this month. The Avalanche’s prospect pool was ranked last in the NHL by The Athletic’s Scott Wheeler in January, a natural toll taken by Colorado’s all-in approach to win the 2022 Stanley Cup championship.A year later, president of hockey operations Joe Sakic and general manager Chris MacFarland are trying to walk the fine line between maintaining the win-now mindset while a championship window remains open and investing in the organization’s future. Boop Oop A Doop — It’s Betty Who Boop Oop A Doop: Rarely has an artist been so perfectly named. “Betty Who” is an appropriate moniker for the Australian synth-pop artist. Not because she’s an anonymous figure in the modern, brutal pop world but because she seems to have been spending the first few years of her career discovering herself, working out what she wants her signature sound to be and, of course, growing up. Hence, her last EP was called Betty, Pt. 1 and her album is called Betty, despite the fact that they’re preceded by two albums and two EPs for RCA Records. She’s an indie artist now, going it alone, and she’s at the beginning of a new chapter. Shea Couleé also plays. We spoke to Who in 2018, and she told us that, “The place that I’m at in my life right now, personally as well as professionally, I’ve gone through a lot of changes. When you’re 20-something, you think, ‘This is my grown-up life now.’ I think most people have experienced that or are going to. This EP, in a lot of ways, is very representativ...
